Makerspace

In 2018, ÍâÍøÁÔÆæ won a national Digital Literacies Grant to design and transform an existing wet area into our Junior Makerspace. Along with teacher expertise, this space has formed the springboard for innovative Design and Technologies learning across the school. Equipped with tools, levers and pulleys, diverse construction materials and consumables, the Junior Makerspace has become a unique and hands-on hub for learning about engineering principles, food and fibre production and technologies specialisations.

Our Makerspace has also played a key role in delivering high-quality professional learning to teachers state-wide, within our role as a Teacher Development School for Design and Technologies.
